By Mozilla is looking to disable Adobe Flash soon by default in Firefox 69. The initial step toward entirely eliminating assistance for the plugin in the Firefox browser. The Internet organization states that the modification will be primarily done in Firefox 69 Nightly, and will follow through the whole release cycle.
“We are now scheduled to completely disable Flash in Firefox 69 which moves to the Stable release on August 3rd,” Mozilla notes on the browser’s roadmap page.
Adobe declared ideas to entirely terminate Flash and stop supplying security overhauls for it by the end of next year. The decision of the company was to prompt by the large number of crucial flaws discovered in the plugin over the last some years, containing vulnerabilities that were being employed actively in harmful threats.
