Iran’s state-linked news website domains have been taken by the USA for spreading disinformation. The US Justice Department informed that during the tension between the two countries, this act of USA is a far-reaching crackdown.

According to the US Justice Department, the Iranian Islamic Radio and Television Union was using 33 seized websites which the government of the USA separated. They were declared to be spreading disinformation and to start hostility among the voters of the 2020 presidential elections.

The United States of America claimed Kata’ib Hizballah, an international terrorist company in the last decade, was operating three of the websites.

Justice Department has also said that the USA has the domains of all websites however, the sanction did not help IRTVU or KH in getting the licenses to form the USA government. The announcement was made by the Justice Department right after IRNA, the Iranian news agency unveiled what the US government has done seized website domains without providing many details.

Ebrahim Raisi, who famous for his conflicts with the West mentioned some hard-lined statements at his news conference. He somehow managed to figure out to either arrange a meeting with the American President Joe Biden or make negotiations over the Tehran missile program.

History is full of the events that indicate the beef between Iran and the USA which has only gone worse in the span of a few years especially after the former US president had withdrawn from Tehran’s nuclear deal.

The government of the USA has also obtained the name of the news website Palestine Today which highlights the current situation of Gaza.
